I have seen Flickr images for searching similar images. You did great job in using the isk daemon.

In my project, I'm trying to run the imgseek daemon on Php. Found the architecture on the website. Need ideas and suggestion from you.

the idea of imgseek is brilliant, but the results seem poor, I imported about 100 porn images and 30 or so images of circus tents, the tried with both 'search using image' and sketch, for the tent images, the results were very poor even using different photos of the same tent. any plans to develop the recognition capabilities?

I'm trying to try the demo on http://fs.imgseek.net/ but everytime I click on the tabs on the left( like "visual") it gives the following output: "Sorry, no results found".

Does it work for you? Or have you the same problem?

It will only search for Flickr images. Searching the web demands far more CPU and net bandwidth resources than I have available.

Will the external image support only search Flickr for similar pictures or will it search the web?

Very excited about that feature coming out.

Not really. I've had some really good experiences with Eclipse RCP lately and it seems like a perfect fit for complex desktop based apps like image management.
